About

I am a Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge, currently working on the WAIT LESS study. This study aims to co-produce a digital self-led application of the Brief Psychosocial Invention (BPI) with young people, their parents/carers and healthcare professionals. We want to determine whether the eBPI can offer rapid relief to young people who are on the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) waiting list. In terms of my background, I have a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Research in Clinical Psychology, with several years of experience working in adult mental health services, including at an inpatient adult hospital and later at an NHS IAPT service (now NHS Talking Therapies). In 2021 I moved towards research, and worked as a Research Assistant for 2 and a half years at the University of Hertfordshire, contributing to various studies relating to OCD, learning disabilities and renal disease. Prior to my current role, I took some time away from full time work and did travelling alongside bar work.
