Design is characterized by a fusion of shape, construction, usability and marketing. The process of developing a product is affected by many factors like the technical production, aesthetics and other variables. But i have learned to understand, how all these elements influence the final look of a product. In my opinion these different developments accompany together in a well designed concept. Most of the time materiality, technology and usability influence my design work. Therefore i try to create products with an aesthetic appearance and simple use. Drafts that are technically not feasible, won’t be part of my design approach. Due to my technical background, every concept is designed to be produced with newest manufacturing processes, disregarding some future thoughts. My studies in industrial design, as well as design- and product management showed me the essential connection between the product itself, the brand communication and its product selling strategies. A good design embodies the perfect instrument for a excellent brand communication through its values and philosophy. For me the combination of marketing, management and design is a really important task for the future brand development.
Materiality, technology and simplicity – as well as the clients needs – influences my design work most of the time. Therefore i’m constantly trying to create products with an appearance, properly defined and reduced to its core, leading to a simple use. Drafts which are technically not feasible, definitely won’t be part of my journey designing a user centered product – obviously without limiting me in my creativity itself. Due to my technical background most of my conceptional ideas are designed to be produced with actual manufacturing processes, disregarding some future thoughts and “out-of-the-box” approaches. I design complete spatial concepts, create design objects, and develop custom furniture pieces — from prototype to series-ready products, as well as bespoke one-off solutions, precisely tailored to individual requirements and your personal vision. I plan, consult, design, and visualize — in short, we translate requirements into confident, living design. People are always at the center of my work, with functionality and quality as our highest standards. From sketches and plans to 3D models, i utilize state-of-the-art visualization and prototyping technologies. Materiality and color play a central role in shaping interaction within a space. In my role, I was responsible for the strategic, conceptual, and technical development of international store and POS concepts within a large-scale retail environment. My focus included the creation and rollout of category-specific presentation concepts, the development of experiential and technology-driven customer touchpoints, and the modularization of store formats across multiple European markets. I led cross-format POS initiatives for private label brands, acted as the main interface for global technology partners at the point of sale, and contributed to the development and evolution of new store formats. Further responsibilities included cost optimization, supplier management, and the standardization of store construction elements with a strong emphasis on scalability and efficiency. Additionally, I drove sustainability initiatives within store design, developed evaluation tools aligned with regulatory standards, and supported international rollout, quality management, and prototyping processes. My work consistently focused on enhancing customer experience, operational excellence, and sustainable retail solutions.
