Responsibility for product group: -Hip Instruments (ZNN and Affixus target guides) -Hip Implants (Affixus nails, Hip stem) Supplier responsibility for plastics and carbon. Furthermore managing Outside Processing (OSP) activities including machining and surface treatment (e.g. Anodization, Plasma Spraying, Hardening) for our internal production and dyanforge. Managing frame contracts and info records to ensure prices are well reflected in SAP. Introduce and renew supply agreements with our supplier which require high negotiation skills. Working on future supplier strategies and continuous price reduction to have the best supplier portfolio available for Zimmer Biomet.
Responsible for Aircraft OEM's Airbus, Boeing and Embraer concerning negotiation, contracts, pricing and repair capabilities. Further managing repair business with Hedinger, Avia-Technique, MEL Aviation and Siemens. Managing complete Consumable & Expendable (C&E) business for whole SR Technics group including contracts, creating forecasts and doing business reviews with the supplier. Pricing specialist in SAP to secure price availabity and accuracy for operational procurement. Observing and steering chemical development with a high focus on shelf life items concerning scrap rate and acting according REACh regulation. Success Stories: -Gave input and developed ERO (Expedited Routine Order) services together with Airbus to avoid high numbers of AOG (Aircraft on Ground) orders -Build up the Consumable & Expendable (C&E) frame for SR Technics around the adjusted business enviroment -Generated savings with supplier consolidation and price negotiation on Consumable & Expendable (C&E) $250k within one year -Introduced in SAP a new pricing tool to get complete overview on the different prices at a glance for all business units -Reducing the scrapping rate of shelf life related items by 50% by observing business behavior, adjusting planning parameter accordingly and create awareness by the end user
Managed Heavy Maintenance-, Components- and Raw material-team in Zurich. In total 14 employees until off shoring to Malaysia. Led the full know-how transfer from Zurich to Malaysia. Introduced REACh (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisatin and Restriction of Chemicals) regulations in purchasing to be compliant. Success Stories: -Saved 4 positions in Zurich for high demanding Aircraft checks in Zurich and Malta -No ground time delay due to missing material -Successful know-how transfer from Zurich to Malaysia
Leading a team of 3 purchaser and 2 planner to provide ad hoc and planned Consumable & Expendable (C&E) material for Heavy Maintenance Checks (HMV or as well called D-Check which is in fact the largest technical check can be done on an aircraft) and C-Check in Zurich and IL-Check (Intermediate Layover) in Malta. Furthermore standard replenished Consumable & Expendable for Zurich main warehouse and all SR Technics line stations. Success Stories: -Building a high skilled and very customer orientated team -Strengthen the thrust between Purchasing and the Hangar / Shops -On time delivery performance of 98% -No ground time delay due to missing material -Reduction of the AOG (Aircraft on Ground) fee costs by -30% / 300k CHF per year
