I have more than twenty years consulting experience in vibration engineering, numerical modelling and materials science. Since 2004 I have primarily worked in the field of vibration engineering and structural dynamics. During this time I have gained experience in developing analytical models, advanced dynamic Finite Element modelling as well as undertaking complex in-situ measurement programs, interpreting test data and correlating models with test data. I hold a particular interest in: - The assessment of vibration and regenerated noise with respect to human comfort and structural damage. - Planning and undertaking complex in-situ measurements. - Vibration mitigation via tuned mass dampers. I regularly oversee the design, installation and tuning of custom tuned mass dampers in diverse environments. - Forensic and fatigue investigations.
