Manages the following functions for the Group: Investor Relations • Lead and manage investor communications as the key point of contact. Establish and maintain good rapport with research analysts, institutional investors, retail investors and other financial market stakeholders • Attend and present at investor conferences, presentations and roadshows • Manage and develop annual reports, announcements and investor collaterals • Plan and execute general meetings and other investor relations events • Assist in investor relations matters related to the Real Estate Division’s private funds Branding and Corporate Communications • Enhance and protect the Boustead brand name by upholding and projecting a compelling, consistent and reputable corporate image to both external and internal stakeholders • Manage and develop content for digital platforms (organisation websites and social media) • Conceptualise and develop corporate marketing collaterals • Manage and upkeep the Boustead Group’s brand assets Sustainability Reporting • Boustead Group Longevity Reporting Champion • Manage and develop annual sustainability report (Longevity Report) • Coordinate and implement disclosures under International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) and Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD); with current reporting under Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) • Work with relevant internal stakeholders to collect, analyse and present sustainability reporting data Media Relations • Establish a media programme of proactive initiatives to garner positive and meaningful coverage with target media • Foster strong relationships with key media ensuring coverage of key announcements and media pitches Other Key Roles • Ensure holistic stakeholder communications activities are aligned and consistent throughout the Group • Provide counsel and support for external and internal communications matters relating to the Boustead Group and its subsidaries
Investor Relations Lead who developed and carried out the Group's overall investor relations, communications & corporate brand programmes and strategy: Managed the Group's 56th AGM presentation and materials, and supported the Group’s reporting of 1Q FY2024 business update & 1H FY2024 results Developed research content and key narratives for reporting, strategy presentations and other relevant communications and financial material Organised and facilitated meetings with analysts and restarted coverage for the company in line with IR plan Supported sustainability-related matters for the Group Manage and maintain corporate website, including transition to CMS platform Maintained the corporate mailbox and responded to external enquirers and leads
Manages the Public Relations team and function: Oversees the planning, development and implementation of PR and initiatives to enhance the organization’s brand awareness and corporate image Spearheads current corporate communications initiatives such as the establishment of a KOL strategy and engagement mechanism for the organization Operationalises budgets, annual KPIs, appraisals and training to ensure an empowered team Executes PR plans through effective key messaging and compelling storytelling; surpassed AVE KPIs in 2022 & 2023 Advises business groups on marketing communication development plan and strategy Crisis management and preparedness Manages crisis and issues with relevant business groups or overseas office to safeguard the reputation of the organization Ensuring crisis preparedness and management through the development and implementation of crisis and issues management frameworks
Crisis and Issues Communications: Responding strategically to media articles through putting out timely clarifications and letters to the editor Anticipating issues and preparing corresponding media holding statements Adopting a proactive approach to strenuously defend the organisation’s reputation when in question Ensuring digital tracking tools are in place to track, alert and anticipate potential crisis Media Relations: Crafting news releases, media statements, talking points and responses to media queries Managing media conferences and events, including results briefings Pitching and engaging media on corporate-angled stories Fostering relationships with media partners and keeping them abreast on the latest industry/organisation trends and developments Financial Communications: Preparation of full-year and half-year results media and presentation materials at press briefing, as well as quarterly operational updates Responding promptly to financial-related queries Sustainability and ESG Communications: Works closely with the CDL Sustainability team to fine-tune messaging and media statements Pitches to media on sustainability-related award wins and initiatives to garner positive brand coverage Reporting and Analytics: Track and prepare reports on media coverage/communications activities and social media traction Research and Analysis: Examining and analysing communications approach from external organisations on various topics and extracting best practices Digital Communications and Social Media support: Supporting the enhancement of existing digital and social media channels, and the publishing of engaging content to increase following
Conceptualises and executes integrated communication and media programmes: · Strategising communications plans and developing media materials for the environmental protection portfolio, including major industry events such as Clean & Green Singapore and Ecofriend Awards · Raising the profile of the Singapore Met Service and the Centre for Climate Research through initiating media programmes and fronting spokespersons Engages media frequently to further enhance the agency's reputation: · Securing numerous front-page and full-page coverage through successful media pitches · Responding promptly to media queries and forum letters from the public through coordinating reply with various departments and government agencies Providing communications support and training to internal stakeholders: · Supporting departments in crisis communications through devising messaging, managing media and putting out a timely response to the public · Organising media spokespersons training to develop internal capabilities for media interviews
Actively engages the media to enhance NEA's reputation as the lead agency in improving and sustaining a clean and green environment through: • Pitching of corporate stories • Keeping media abreast of the latest environmental initiatives • Responding promptly to media queries and forum letters
