I joined One8six at 18 yrs old to learn all about equipment and techniques used in the film industry as it has always been an avid interest of mine. During my 5yrs there I conducted the prepping and maintaining video, 35mm and 16mm packages, as well as grips. As a natural progression from this, I became involved in video operating, resulting in my carrying out freelance work for many major corporate companies and film directors. I have a comprehensive understanding of the processes in motion control, 3D filming, editing, keying, compositing and animation; providing real time playback and on-set evaluation of the scenes assembled together. In addition to the normal and specialised video assist equipment, I have an excellent knowledge of long-range Microwave Transmitters (inc 3D), Photosonics, and media transfer to various sources such as mobile phones, Ipads and Internet.
