I am an ambitious and experienced educator with a background in Business, Economics and Maths. I’ve led curriculum strategy, developed teams, and helped improve outcomes across KS3–5. I care deeply about making the curriculum more inclusive, building cultural capital, and making sure teaching is data driven. Before teaching, I worked across the UK and Europe leading a large team in the outdoor education and travel sector, which shaped how I think about leadership, systems and people. Outside of work, I’m usually playing hockey, running & cycling, or trying out new tech.
A central part of my role is to enhance student progress in the Enterprise Faculty (Business and Economics) while fostering cross-departmental collaboration to ensure the delivery of excellent extracurricular activities, keeping the Enterprise program prominent within the school.
I am an Edexcel A Level Economics examiner for Paper 1 (Markets and Market Failure) and Paper 3 (Microeconomic and Macroeconomic Analysis), responsible for applying mark schemes accurately and consistently to assess knowledge, chains of analysis, and evaluation. This role has strengthened my assessment literacy and deepened my understanding of examiner expectations, particularly what differentiates high-level responses.
