Cilenti lived in France for a period of his artistic life and at Vallauris savored in the “emotion of sublime delight”, spellbound by Picasso who in this little village along the French Riviera molded clay in an orthodox manner in the art of ceramics as if he were creating a work in bronze. And so, for many years Cilenti sojourned there in order to fill his eye, his mind and his heart with shapes and colors and his irresistible desire to create. Initially, he mastered the lost wax technique in casting his bronze sculptural works that have adorned museums and private collections. Since then, he has turned this knowledge to precious jewelry creating miniature sculptures, bas-reliefs warmed with old-world charm.
