Responsible for SW/HW integration and verification of electro-mechanical interlock designs for Clinical Chemistry and Immunoassay platforms to comply with safety regulations and EU directives IEC 61010 for IVD machinery. Responsible for building and maintaining the Atellica portfolio’s cost-savings business cases (analyzing fixed and variable costs in R&D, manufacturing, and service) via product lifecycle cost (PLC) methodology and scenario-based input sensitivity analyses. Supported engineering teams using PLC analysis scenario-based methodology, tools, and field data analysis to drive cost-focused design changes and decision making. Coordinated and performed A1cE reagent evaporation characterization for new assay launch.
Product Owner of commercial and development Clinical Chemistry reagent storage assets; responsible for all technical aspects and business deliverables over the product development life cycle in an FDA regulated design environment using agile team leadership. Tasked with ensuring sub-system hardware solutions are delivered with the appropriate level of quality, functionality, and performance while meeting standard product cost and field service maintenance budgets.
