Hello, I'm Doğukan Çalışkan. I entered Bilkent University in 2016 with a full scholarship and graduated as an industrial engineer. Following my graduation, in 2021, I started working at KPMG Consultancy in the Data, Analytics, and Digital (DAD) department. Since then, I have led projects in various industries, including retail (electronics and appliances, furniture, accommodation, automotive), manufacturing (energy, mining, cement), insurance, and defense. I have worked on projects involving data warehouse implementation, business intelligence/report development, digital transformation, e-commerce strategy formulation, and data management maturity assessment. I possess a determined, learning-oriented, and leadership-oriented mindset. I continue to work with great motivation towards my future goals.
I mainly worked on data engineering and business intelligence. I was part of the team that designed and implemented the data warehouse. I integrated IoT (big data) data with open source technologies. I have advanced Tableau BI tool knowledge. I developed reports and dashboards for department managers and boards of directors.
Generally, I implement digital strategy framework of KPMG which is called as "Connected Enterprise" to clients. In this context, I conduct digital maturity questionnaires, organize workshops to analyze current processes with business units, design target operating models and technology architectures, prepare digital transformation roadmaps. Besides, I work on ETL, business intelligence, data warehouse strategies, data science algorithms etc.
I had an important opportunity to enter the business world. I mainly worked on financial planning by using Office programmes. We worked on decreasing expenses and increasing incomes. Additionally, I could observe administrative management thanks to general coordinator.
