Hired as the only apprentice to work directly under the Company’s chief executive to learn the business of theatre. Conducted casting research to match actors with open roles. Was voted by the apprentice cohort to be executive producer of the year-end showcase. Assisted with the production of several community projects. Contributed as a panelist and submission screener for the 2022 21st Century Voices New Play Festival. Also, directed and performed in touring performances of 'Knock' for all St. Petersburg College campuses as part of the company’s Black History Month programming. On the mainstage, worked on shows including 'The Odd Couple' (Assistant Director/Dramaturgical Research), 'Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol' (Board Operator/Lobby Engagement), and 'School Girls: or, The African Mean Girls Play' (Run Crew).
Worked with the scenic designer, head carpenter, and head electrician for an outdoor production of Romeo and Juliet in America: The One with the Happy Ending. Duties included building flats, assembling and painting of set pieces, erecting scaffolding, hanging lights, and laying electrical cabling. As a member of the run crew, assisted with scene changes, costume changes, application of practical effects, and the implementation of health and safety protocols as dictated by Actors’ Equity.
