Together, we manage the full EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) scope—from high-voltage grid connections to sophisticated software development for DCS and PLC systems. Leading the Energy from Waste (EfW), Renewable Gas (RG), and Carbon Capture (CC) EIC team at the Zurich headquarters, comprising 35 team members, as well as engineering teams in Slovakia and Germany. Responsible for execution and tendering of the complete electrical and automation scope for EPC EfW, RG, and CC plant projects. Scope includes: HV grid connection including protection systems; MV and LV distribution; E-houses or buildings; instrumentation; functional safety; cybersecurity; DCS hardware and software engineering; cable tray design and routing; and cable calculations.

Full responsibility for the proposal of sales projects, from scheduling, economic, qualitative and technical objectives (incl. internal and external coordination) up to documentation. Development of cost and schedule optimized solutions including related setup and training for the involved internal and external execution teams Ramp up of different low-cost engineering hubs
Technical and commercial responsibility for the base with a volume of ca. 13 Mio €. Responsible for load and execution quality of the base. Acquisition, tendering and execution of various electrical and automation projects e.g. substations (HV, MV, LV, Grid Automation), electrical balance of plant, battery energy storage systems, power plant control systems. Identification of industry trends and translation into new business opportunities. Drive strategy and growth initiatives within the segment and region. Establishing relationships with customers at all levels and develop strategies to win profitable business from those customer.
Responsibility for R&D and engineering, design and Fleet Management for electrical and automation systems for large power plants (12 team members) within the Power Service Business. Controls integration of all auxiliary and supporting systems of power plants. Preparation of cost calculations for engineering and hardware of automation and electrical systems Introduction of new engineering tools (e.g. COMOS, WSCAD). Responsible for load and execution quality of an engineering office in Croatia and external employees (5 team members). Ideas and implementation of various cost reduction projects. Product and supplier qualification.
Responsibility for development, engineering, design and product support for automation of large gas turbine power plants (22 team members) Design and supplier selection for controls system, instrumentation, motors, frequency converters, switch gears, UPS systems and field bus systems for gas turbines new business Creation of gas turbine power plant P&ID‘s Preparation of cost calculations for engineering and hardware of automation and electrical systems. Development and implementation of a new control system (Alspa 6) for gas turbines and implementation in existing and new power plants (Alstom Innovation Award 2009) Customization and implementation of a new engineering tool (COMOS).
