Global logistics executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience across Europe and Asia, combining operational excellence, commercial focus and innovation. I have led large-scale organisations through growth, transformation and integration, with a consistent focus on customers, performance and long-term value creation. Most recently, as EVP Contract Logistics for Germany and Switzerland at Schenker, I led its largest European contract logistics cluster (~3,000 colleagues), strengthening performance, driving commercial discipline and delivering record EBIT results while repositioning the business for sustainable growth. Prior to this, as CEO Korea at Schenker, I developed the business into a leading market position across Air & Ocean and Contract Logistics, with a strong focus on key sectors such as semiconductors, electronics and pharma, strengthening relationships with global customers and driving a focused and profitable growth agenda. A key milestone was securing global board approval for a 38,000 sqm logistics facility in the Incheon Free Economic Zone, supporting Korea’s role as a regional hub. I also served as Chairperson of the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea, working closely with industry leaders and government stakeholders. Today, I am engaged in selected advisory activities in the logistics and supply chain sector, while actively contributing to international economic collaboration, including my role as Honorary Ambassador of Foreign Investment Promotion with KOTRA and Board leadership within the Deutsch-Koreanischer Wirtschaftskreis (DKW) e.V.. I bring experience across all major logistics products (Air & Ocean, Contract Logistics, Global Projects and Fairs & Events), a strong track record in developing business and organisations, and a leadership style that is pragmatic, strategic and hands-on. My focus remains on building high-performing teams, strengthening customer relationships and delivering sustainable, long-term results.
