Andre has been successful in entertainment for the last 23 years. He has created TV series starring the great Jerry Rice, and directed greats such as Morgan Freeman, James Caan, Armand Assante, Ed Begley Jr., C Thomss Howell, Kathyrn Joosten, and more. Andre has worked theatrically in both film and television which include guest appearances on Modern Family, Haunted Hathaways, Raising Hope, MAD TV, Campus Ladies, Scrubs, Phineas and Ferb, Zoey 101, and more. He has over 20 feature films to his credit and has produced films for Sony, Paramount and other major companies. He has produced films starring actors such as Michael Clarke Duncan, Vinne Jones, and Brian Austin Green. Andre and the cast of Jungle Bunch won the International Emmy Award for best Kids Animated show. Gordon and John Lithgow are leads. He has also won an MTV Choice Award with the cast of Miraculous Lady Bug. Andre was born in Saint Andrew, Jamaica and grew up in Miami, Florida. He is an alumni of the BFA program at Florida State University, and the MFA Screenwriting program at Regent University. I’m excited to be joining FIU’s Law School as a Clinical Adjunct, helping support Communication and Marketing’s efforts for the Experiential Learning Program and the broader law school.
I develop and plan multimedia production projects in collaboration with the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (HWCOM) faculty and subject matter experts. I ensure production deliverables meet university branding requirements for proper usage of FIU logo and brand signage. Communicate internal and university guidelines surrounding copyright and fair use. I review multimedia requests for non-curricular or training projects(Marketing, etc.) Collaborate with leadership to identify appropriate workflow and priorities for supporting the colleges multimedia needs. Create, maintain and report on multimedia project scope and approvals, deliverables, timelines, and risk management. Maintain records and documentation of multimedia requests, including inventory of completed and unapproved projects. Maintain archived production assets and project files. Maintains inventory of required studio supplies and equipment. Evaluate and recommend equipment purchasing needs and solutions for enhancing production quality. Maintains subscriptions and licensing of stock footage, stock images and production resources. Perform regular equipment testing for proactive maintenance of multimedia devices. Train faculty, staff, and students in the operation of multimedia assets. Stays abreast of emerging trends and incorporates best practices which promote and facilitate the effective integration of multimedia technology. Executes, independently, video production processes including the shooting, editing, and final delivery of produced content. This includes the planning and executing of project timelines.
