I’m a technology and AI executive with deep experience building and scaling enterprise‑level engineering and AI organizations. I have shaped long‑range product, platform, and architectural strategies at few of the world’s most influential technology companies. Across Pinterest, LinkedIn, Yahoo! and AT&T Labs, my career has centered on leading teams that build foundational intelligence, drive platform evolution, and deliver product experiences with global impact. I operate at the intersection of AI, engineering, product, safety, and business strategy, guiding companies through technological inflection points and aligning them around durable long‑term bets. At Pinterest, I was hired to help realize the company’s vision of moving Pinners from inspiration to action through world‑class, AI‑first personalized discovery. Reporting to the CTO, I led an organization that grew from ~200 to ~1,000 engineers across AI Foundations, Consumer Engineering, Trust & Safety, and AI Product. My teams built the AI foundations for personalized discovery, launched zero‑to‑one products like creators and shopping, and advanced ranking, retrieval, CV, ads quality, and safety systems that powered billions of predictions daily. This role strengthened my operational depth, architectural judgment, and enterprise‑scale leadership. As LinkedIn’s Chief AI Officer, I lead enterprise‑wide AI strategy, long‑horizon innovation, and the Core AI teams powering intelligence across LinkedIn’s ecosystem. My remit blends C‑suite strategy with hands‑on leadership — guiding the evolution of LinkedIn’s AI platforms, advancing agents and multi‑modal capabilities, and ensuring innovations remain ethical, inclusive, and aligned with our mission to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce. I combine large‑scale operational leadership with C‑suite strategic stewardship, spanning foundational ML, platform architecture, product alignment, safety, and cross‑company leadership. I have deep expertise in recommender systems and have published extensively in the area (100+ papers, including a book) and have built and scaled at least six large scale industry leading recommender systems with massive impact.
