Deployed in the subsidiary company Mota-Engil Mexico Energy, operating 2 joint venture companies, Generadora Fenix and Suministradora Fenix: - Generadora Fenix: was the first private entity in Mexico's liberalized energy market starting January 2016. The company is a top private hydroelectric in Mexico, generating ~100 million USD yearly and manages over 283 MW in hydroelectric capacity. - Suministradora Fenix: is a energy trading company in Mexico generating annual revenues ~150 million USD
Working specifically in the ENVIRONMENT & SERVICES BUSINESS DIVISION. Focused on environmental services including: urban waste management, landfill operation, water treatment & management, and waste-to-energy projects. Structuring successful tenders & implementation of PPPs for urban waste management. Managing the end-to-end process, including preparing & submitting the bidding proposals, feasibility analysis, technical/operational analysis and the financial model. Establishing JV companies with strategic partners to operate the concessions and overseeing the operational launch. Responsibilities included supporting legal and contractual arrangements such as company and shareholder structure, regulatory compliance, procurment and structuring & raising financing. Managed and supervised the financial operations and planning & control functions of the joint ventures,
Overseeing the consolidation of financial accounts and information across all Latin America markets. Responsibilities included budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance analysis. Preparation of financial & business control reports and presentations for C-Level executives.

Liaison Officer for the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) delegation during the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
