Fulfilled the following roles: As a .NET developer I had the opportunity to work on various .NET projects with the following technologies: - Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) & WinForms (UI Framework) - Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) & ASP.NET WEB API - ADO.NET, Entity Framework (ORM) - DevExpress UI controls As a curious learner I could successfully develop an Android application in Android Studio (coded in Java using Gson lib) that uses an ASP.NET Web API web service as its datasource. The purpose of this application was to provide quick and insightful management reports such as revenue (gross/net sales, refunds) and stock overview. N.B. I am by no means a Java dev. Being a senior engineer got me the chance to set up and maintain several production & acceptance MS SQL Server instances and databases. While playing the role of both a SQL Server developer and administrator, I troubleshooted and optimized a few slow running MS SQL Server databases by using SQL Server dynamic management views, indices were useful and unavoidable, SQL Profiler, SQL jobs, and TSQL window functions. In the rest of the years employed I was appointed as acting delivery manager on a software project for a money exchange services company and a wood exporter company. Besides designing and occasionally coding I collaborated with the development team and the customers to solve problems, create business solutions by analyzing and documenting the business processes, keep an eye on the backlog, track and report on the project progress, perform UAT, review technical documentation, plan and manage software releases, user training, provide end-user support, report bugs and fix ad-hoc data issues. Although I was not a team lead, I technically led most of the development teams on some of the projects.
