IBM Research is the research and development division for IBM, an American multinational information technology company headquartered in Armonk, New York, with operations in over 170 countries. As an accomplished program manager with deep experience in Semiconductor and Packaging Technology, I was a natural fit for Program Manager to develop key performance elements for 7nm Technology for Next Generation IBM servers. Due to my diligent work ethic and result-delivering nature, my roles and scope expanded, whereas I was entrusted by management for Managing Key Projects for the company’s Hybrid Cloud Technology Research Organization. Advising and working closely with the executive team, I am responsible for running critical strategic programs and projects on a daily basis and served as the point person for managing the Executive Office, including handling the creation and flow of communications required to ensure that the department runs efficiently and professionally with regards to its key stakeholders. I worked in IBM’s microelectronics division (sold in 2015) as a Product Line manager for Semiconductor Packaging, collaborating with the design, marketing, and sales departments to develop strategies to increase profit margins, monitoring emerging product trends, and forecasting customer demand. Over the course of my tenure, I earned a reputation as the department’s “got-go” Program Manager, being sought as the Technology Project Manager and ISDA Alliance Program Manager. As the ISDA Alliance Program Manager, it was my duty to manage communications (setting agenda, prep presenters, driving closure of action items) for Quarterly and Biweekly reviews to Management Committee Members and Marketing teams. Select accomplishments: •Managed large development Alliance with partners across the globe in Semiconductor industry. •Positioned Packaging Product line to achieve revenues of $1.5 billion over 4 years. •Managed a team of 18 engineers & technicians, generated $1.5 million in additional revenue for business unit via design and build of prototypes.
