I am highly interested to explore various heterogeneous Inorganic- Organic hybrid materials preparation applications, in clean and sustainable energy production.The main objective of my research is the design of mono and multifunctional solid catalysts with isolated and/or well defined catalytic active sites. I am also interested in synthesis and application of transition metal based heterogeneous catalysts in many reactions such as C-O and C-C bond activation, deoxygenation. Consequently, the synthesis, characterization and catalytic activity of micro-porous crystalline materials such as hybrid organic-inorganic materials and metallic clusters and nano-particles are the master lines of myscientific interest. Characterization of catalysts through different spectroscopic techniques (UV-Vis, IR, Raman, XPS, SEM, TEM, NMR, XRD, etc…), as gas adsorption (BET), TEM, theoretical modeling and kinetic and isotopic studies, allow to understand how the catalyst works and how we can optimize the synthesis method to get maximum activity and selectivity of the product.
