I’m an industrial designer from the Dominican Republic, based in Atlanta, working across product, furniture, and interaction design. My work focuses on shaping objects with clear intent, where form, material, and use work together to create meaning in everyday experiences. I’m particularly interested in physical interaction, structural clarity, and designs that communicate through restraint rather than excess. I’m currently studying Industrial Design at the Georgia Institute of Technology, developing concept-driven work grounded in research, prototyping, and hands-on fabrication. I’m pursuing opportunities where thoughtful design, material intelligence, and a strong point of view are valued.
Collaborated on the design and fabrication of custom furnishings, decorative finishes, and architectural elements for hospitality, real estate, and corporate interiors. Focused on integrating Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure each concept could be translated into efficient, scalable production. Developed detailed shop drawings and build plans to guide in-house fabricators, balancing design intent with material constraints and construction techniques.
Led the end-to-end design of a five-piece décor line, starting with on-site user interviews and trend boards to translate consumer insights into CMF guidelines. Produced iterative sketches, CAD models, and appearance prototypes, steering weekly reviews with marketing, sourcing, and engineering to balance brand aesthetic with unit-cost targets and manufacturing constraints. Collaborated with in-house interior designers to ensure each piece harmonised with regional style trends and complementary product families. Coordinated supplier trials to validate materials and finishes, secured executive sign-off for pilot production, and delivered a launch package (spec sheets, renderings, and merchandising cues) that positioned the collection for the next seasonal rollout.
Led the design sub-team for FIRST Robotics Competition Team DRIFT 4091, the Dominican Republic’s first FRC team. Directed CAD and prototyping of the 120-lb competition robot, mentored a dozen student designers, and synchronized daily reviews with programming and electronics leads. Helped drive the outreach efforts that earned the team the 2024 FIRST Engineering Inspiration Award at the Orlando regional competition.
Taught archery and ceramics to campers aged 6–16, supervised up to 80 children as a counselor in training, ran the canteen and camp shop, and organized evening and rain-day activities. Maintained rigorous safety protocols on the range and in the studio while adapting instruction to varied skill levels.
