I'm an 8+ year product leader from Europe's fastest-scaling startups, building with AI to make my dad redundant at the wholesale company he spent his life building 😈. (Cue every Logan Roy meme from Succession.) I want to turn his successful pen-and-paper B2B wholesale business into a digitally native operation that can run without him. My dream is that he can finally step off the warehouse floor and onto a beach in Phuket… or play with the grandkids he's still peer-pressuring me into having. So far I've used n8n, Claude, Firecrawl and Replit to build: ⏱️ A pay-run tool that turned the 4-hour job he did every Saturday into a 15-minute one he can run single-handed (the other hand's holding his rum) before the weekend kicks off. 📱 A TikTok trend pipeline that watches 10,000 hours of content for $20, so Dad doesn't rot his brain hunting for the next big product to bring into NZ. 📦 A stock-management system that's clawed back 15% in working capital — fewer boxes sitting in the warehouse means less strain on Dad's back. The more I do this, the better the data and technical infrastructure gets, and the more I can automate. The flywheel is genuinely addictive and the work is fulfilling. Outside of trying to make my dad redundant, I have expertise across the entire e-commerce stack: procurement, wholesale, operations, sales and logistics. Owned the supply side from seed to Series A, grew the catalogue from 200k to 2,000,000+ items, and lifted fulfilment from 53% to 90%. → Hubs: took injection moulding from a side bet to 2x conversion and 3x revenue in 3 months — now the company's 2nd most profitable product. → Hive (Tiger Global, €60M+): revamped the B2C logistics operation so it could carry B2B as those customers grew into it. First tech person at a 30-person FMCG wholesale distributor in NZ. Came in to build the tech function from pen-and-paper, and now run all tech, IT, data and AI enablement using Claude, n8n, Replit and Python. • Lead AI enablement across the company. Rolled out the ERP MCP server (as beta tester for the vendor) and built the training, guidelines, and shared-context infrastructure that lets the whole company work faster with AI. • Built a TikTok trend-detection pipeline with n8n and Claude. Watches 10,000 hours of content for $20 and surfaces emerging product trends • Built a price-scraping agent that finds purchasing opportunities across NZ supermarkets saving Nalsun COGS of $100k+ in 6 months • Built a pay-run tool on Replit that cut payroll processing from 4 hours a week to 30 minutes, saving my dad 180 hours a year.
3-month full-time intensive in full-stack web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, Postgres, Prisma, ). Took this on to learn how to make scalable web apps for my next role at Nalsun.
Hired to build out the B2B arm of an e-commerce fulfilment platform, backed by Tiger Global and Earlybird (€60M+ raised, 400+ people across Europe). • Took on the delivery team alongside the B2B team a month in (40% of Hive's revenue). • Killed Hive's legacy WMS-SaaS product, 10,000 lines of code from a failed external-licensing play. Folded essentials into the main app, freeing engineering capacity for the B2B build-out. • Scoped and led the freight automation rebuild, from manual handoffs to hands-free flow.
Promoted to Senior PM owning company-level supply OKRs. Led 5 cross-functional teams and coached 2 PMs. Company at 110+ employees by exit. • Improved fulfilment from 53% to 90% in 6 months by finding the systemic causes of bad orders in the data. 10% above industry standard. • Grew the catalogue from 200,000 to 2,000,000+ items by 5x'ing the seller base in 1 year. • Led data scientists to ship products that graded sellers on onboarding, optimised their catalogues, and lifted data quality across the marketplace.
