Leading the AI Communications activities of the secretariat, mainly the workstreams of 1. Thought Leadership 2. Partnerships and Information Landscape 3. Internal Use of AI tools Additionally leading a team of professional and support staff responsible for providing effective information and collaboration products and platforms, e.g. the United Nations Climate Change Secretariat taxonomy, the Ai components on the website and the internal social intranet. Leading Media Operations at June Session (SBs) and COPs. This is the fun stuff ;-) Represents the UN Climate Change Secretariat in various secretariat committees and represent the secretariat in interagency committees and task forces including InforMEA, UN Metadata Steering Committee, UN System Communication Groups, UNBIS, UNTERM, UN Internal Comms Network.
Lead a team of professional and support staff responsible for providing effective information and communication products/tools • Provide leadership with accountability for work plan development, delegation of responsibilities, allocation of tasks, coordination and monitoring to ensure the achievement of the team’s goals • Manage the team’s human and financial components with the accountability managing budget, conducting performance appraisals, identifying training needs and counselling staff on performance issues • Initiate and oversee the production and management of diverse range of internal information and communincation product, e.g. (but limited to): the internal communcations strategy, the taxonomy, the internal intranet platform,
