About

Dietmar heads the Brussels office of an international law firm. In addition to providing legal advice to multinational companies in various industries, Dietmar advises both EU Member States and non-EU states on developments in the EU and the influence of Community law on the administration and legislative powers of Member States as well as on private industry projects. In 1994, he began practicing International public law, especially solving EU pre-accession disputes. He has also worked as a lecturer at the Universities of Geneva and Hamburg, specialises in competition law and has accumulated over 20 years of professional practice. In his current work, he assists parties in Eastern Europe and Asia in conflict resolution between industries and governments. Dietmar represents the Baltic Sea Forum in Brussels, is a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for European Affairs (INEA), the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and a board member of the Consular Corps in Hamburg.
