Initially involved in managing a problem supplier through the FAA conformity process on a major US Air to Air Refuelling (AAR) programme, I was then tasked with managing all project aspects of the wing mounted AAR system on the Airbus A400M programme. This work included the replanning of the entry in to service activities as well as closing out aspects of the engineering programme including final certification of the system and 3 tranches of modification activity as well as resolving some serious programmatic issues with the ground support equipment.
