About

As physicist and material scientist with a hands-on mentality, I have devoted my research activities to the fundamental understanding and tailoring of materials properties for application in green energy technologies (hydrogen and ammonia solid-state storage, battery, thermochemical heat storage, etc...). I have an extensive background in the synthesis and characterization of materials for energy storage and conversion with a strong focus on in-situ, operando neutron, and X-ray spectroscopy. As an inquisitive and team-minded person, excelling in international cooperation and communication, I am comfortable with project management, long-term strategic planning, and highly detailed scientific work. I’m engaged, both to develop further my skills and transmit my knowledge.
