To advise and to help the customer and the organization to achieve the highest end result. My focus and passion are corrosion problems en coating solutions for the Industry. For this I am investing in personal education and further developing my skills in this specific domain. • Extensive expertise, knowledge and experience in the complex interplay between the coating products and it’s application techniques. The interaction between the substrate, application conditions and coating systems herein are the determining factor. • The link between the customer, the team and the organization; Communication, teamwork and knowledge are key. I am the liaison partner between the various internal and external parties, recognising detailed attention to their different interests. In doing so I gained considerable experience in communicating at different levels within companies in order to convey the message effectively and concisely. • Since 1997, I give training to different stakeholders to increase knowledge of the products and applications. Consultant | Inspector (Nace level II) for coating and application • Responsible for determining the strategic maintenance to a deversity of objects / surfaces with respect to coatings. Responsibilties include conducting inspections, advising and formulating budgets for future maintenance. • Conducting research expertise in damages and litigation within homeowners, associations, individuals and insurance compagnies. • Responsible for the supervision and implementation of customer related maintenance projects for the Verf Advies Centrum. Also inspection activities for Rijkswaterstaat and Pro-rail.
• Expertise for coating application and finishing of industrial painting processes. Responsible for the relationship with the client and for the link with product management. Including damage assessment and handling along with R&D and productmanagement. • Translation of technical specifications to meet customer specifications and vice versa. The organization's interlocutor for insurers, surveyors, construction companies, homeowners' associations. • Responsible for the technical inspections and expertise at construction sites. Implemented and developed product related application training programmes for the client and account managers internally.
• Responsible for improvement and maintenance of coating knowledgement, substrate and application techniques within the organization. Initiated by the paint engineering department in cooperation with Product Management and R&D. • Developed and gave training courses for customers and employees. Responsible for external and internal complaint handeling and quality of the various coating products.
• Responsible for the Application and Research Centre department, leading a team of professionals. •.During this period, the transition from supervised training oriented to R&D. In cooperation with Product Management to achieve product introductions at international level. • Also responsible for FMEA analysis and experimental design of application processes of coatings. Much knowledge gained through experience and research in the field of application, products, atomization techniques, devices and innovations.
