About

Clarinet helps organizations build AI fluency, strategy, capability, and confidence across teams so AI becomes a lasting advantage for your business. Our approach is practical, current, and tailored to your context, ensuring immediate impact, ROI, and long-term capability. Learn more at clarinet.io. I cofounded Clarinet because deep ROI comes from empowering teams to make smart AI decisions daily, not just launching cool tech. After partnering with dozens of companies and thousands of leaders, that hypothesis is proving true. Over 20+ years, I've focused on helping people and organizations grow: training 100,000+ professionals across 1,200+ companies, leading teams through complex transformations from New York to Shanghai to San Francisco, and most recently scaling LifeLabs Learning from 8 employees to 200+ and a nine-figure exit as Head of Product & Delivery. These days you'll find me speaking at conferences, writing about human-AI collaboration, and learning with researchers from UC Berkeley, McKinsey, and the UN. When I'm not thinking about AI strategy and behavior change, I'm strategizing about getting my kids to do their chores. My philosophy? Curiosity is a muscle, humor builds bridges, and the best transformations happen when we combine strategic thinking with human wisdom. Want to talk AI transformation? Please reach out!

  • LifeLabs Learning (6 yrs 6 mos)
    • Head Of Learning Experience Design
      Sep 2021 - Jun 2023 · 1 yr 10 mos

LifeLabs Learning was the go-to leadership skills accelerator for 1,800+ innovative companies around the globe. The focus was training managers and teams in ‘tipping point skills’ — small changes that make a big impact on performance and engagement — and help weave them into the fabric of company culture. Learning experiences were short, fun, science-backed, and immediately practical and could be delivered live, virtually, or asynchronously. As Head of Learning Experience Design, I: Served on the executive leadership team, helping make decisions about overall company strategy, systems, and culture during periods of economic instability and through a successful acquisition process. Spearheaded change management efforts and co-authored many company-wide communications. Defined and drove a learning experience product vision that aligned with the impact, brand identity, client satisfaction, and revenue goals of the organization. Lead projects that expanded our product menu by 20% and introduced our first digital, asynchronous learning offerings. Built and led a diverse LXD team that took over from the founders and included responsibilities ranging from product marketing to learning content design. Empowered employees and championed changes that significantly increased the accessibility, transparency, and cultural inclusiveness of our products and learning content creation processes. Scaled the learning content creation team, systems, and infrastructure to support product growth and improvement as our company size and client portfolio doubled without expanding the LXD team headcount.
