I work in philanthropy as Deputy Director of both the Talent Mobility Fund and the International Student Resource Center. The Talent Mobility Fund is a program of Renaissance Philanthropy. Leveraging my background as a U.S. business immigration attorney, I focus on removing structural barriers that prevent high skilled STEM professionals from staying in U.S. - or coming to - the U.S., so their talent can contribute to innovation and economic growth. My work sits at the intersection of immigration law and strategic funding to help unlock underused legal pathways for global talent. I have 16 years of experience in immigration law and policy, with expertise in U.S. employment immigration, immigration program management, high- volume service delivery, program design and operational efficiency. I have experience liaising with high-level officials in Congress, the federal agencies and the White House, on immigration policy, regulations, legislation as well as to address and resolve problematic adjudication and customer service trends. My career spans experience in private practice, nonprofit, U.S. government, corporate and philanthropy. I have spent nearly a decade abroad, including Canada, France, Switzerland, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Chile. -Support leadership in the strategic and operational management of the Talent Mobility Fund, a national initiative formally launched in March 2024, overseeing day-to-day operations, budget execution, grantmaking processes, and long-term funding and growth strategy. -Lead grantmaking operations and grantee engagement for a high-impact portfolio that has supported 19 projects to unlock underutilized immigration pathways and expand STEM talent mobility to the U.S.; draft and negotiate grant agreements, define metrics and deliverables, track progress, and manage disbursements. -Advance ecosystem building across the STEM immigration field, cultivating partnerships with grantees, advocates, and funders; representing TMF in external forums; and facilitating webinars -Drive external communications, visibility, and fundraising support, including managing and updating the TMF website, contributing to newsletters and funder communications, and supporting fundraising engagements to sustain a multi-year operating horizon and rigorous evaluation of pilot outcomes. Provide subject matter expertise on immigration law and policy to the Immigration Policy Tracking Project. The Immigration Policy Tracking Project is a project of Professor Lucas Guttentag and is maintained by Stanford and Yale law students working with a team of leading national immigration experts. The Tracker catalogues every known Trump administration immigration policy, attaches the source documents, and highlights all new 2.0 policies. In 2025, the Tracker averaged ~200,000 to 350,000 site visits per week, and has had more than 5 million unique site visits since January 20, 2025.
As a member of the AILA Law Journal’s editorial board, I contribute to shaping the publication’s scholarly direction by reviewing submissions and selecting articles for inclusion in each issue. I provide detailed editorial feedback to authors, helping them strengthen their arguments, refine their analysis, and ensure clarity and accuracy prior to publication. This role combines academic rigor with mentorship, supporting the advancement of high-quality legal scholarship within the immigration law community.
