Hi! My name is Diana Nguyen, and I am a Sophomore studying Economics at Boston University. Currently, I am the Director of Philanthropy for Phi Gamma Nu (BU Chapter) and volunteer with various nonprofits partnered with BostonCares. I look forward to further partnering my interests and building skills in economics and professional development, and giving back to my community through volunteering and working with nonprofits. I am also an alumni of the Today’s Interns Tomorrow’s Professionals (TIP) Program and previous Business Services Intern, both at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Pairing economics with business services in the mission of public service, I have been able to continuously grow tremendously both personally and professionally, developing a diverse skill set from facilitating enrichment sessions for incoming interns to utilizing excel for varying projects. In addition, shadowing and gaining insight from Economists and Research Assistants has been a wonderful experience in learning more about pursuing economics in various pathways in higher education and career. Aside from academics and work, I love spending quality time with my friends, trying out new matcha spots, exploring the city (especially for museums, shopping, new food places, or nature walks), watching Korean dramas, playing video games, and baking!
