Fibrant is in the middle of a major transition. At the request of the Executive Board, I was part of the transition team to help guide this phase professionally and effectively.
As the Director of Procurement & Supply Chain at Fibrant, I lead a dynamic team of 15 talented professionals. Together, we optimize procurement strategies and streamline supply chain processes to achieve maximum efficiency and sustainability.
Fibrant has a long history in producing caprolactam (as a building block for nylon) and ammonium sulfate (used in the fertilizer market). At Fibrant we take pride in contributing to a better world and have reduced our carbon footprint to one of the lowest in the industry (manufacturing of EcoLactam® instead of caprolactam). This significantly reduces carbon impact of all products of the upwards supply chain. However, we always aim for more! Fibrant stands for ‘pure chemistry’ which not only refers to setting the benchmark in sustainable products and innovation but also to the chemistry among employees and business partners.
Gooiendaag is specialized in dealing with people with dementia, having several locations for either day care and 24-hour living arrangements.
Head of the EU/APAC team for the commodity Machining & Fabrication
As part of the Leadership Team at Fokker Landing Gear I was responsible for all procurement activities; operational, tactical, strategic, business alignment, support and processes. Connection on global level and with the other sites is essential. Fokker Landing Gear is growing as part of GKN aerospace and I was happy to be part of the growth and to contribute to the growth with the procurement team. The team was ~20 people and responsible for the QLTC-performance of all suppliers and categories for all programs, both civil and military. With endless efforts and lots of fun, we strive to do a better job and deliver better results today than we did yesterday.
