As a brand new Certified Physician Assistant and recent graduate of University of Pittsburgh's Physician Assistant Program in December 2025, I am excited to be applying for my first career as a PA! I am dedicated to providing quality patient care, advocate for healthcare equity, and increasing healthcare access to underserved populations.
My role as external operations officer was to maintain collaboration with international partners, design & implemented VHC’s first Public Health Project, plan and train student members weekly in medical terminology, obtaining vital signs, and how to work alongside healthcare professionals during the mobile clinic.
- Completed patient care experience: 3,120 hours Primary Care & 1,400 hours in Urgent Care - Precepted new hire Medical Assistants in both Primary Care and Urgent Care - Supported providers through recording patient chief complaint, medical history, vital signs, phone calls, and managing provider schedule - Support patients through administering vaccines & medications, assisting in procedures, reporting for medical emergencies, wound care, collecting patient lab specimens, ortho glass splinting

My role as a student volunteer was to attend weekly meetings where I helped to fundraise, create healthcare infographics, learn hard skills such as taking vital signs, and assist with English-Vietnamese translation.
