As a hostess and waitress at Lime Leaf Asian Fusion, I play a major role in shaping the customers' dining experience. My typical duties include greeting and leading customers to their tables, answering any questions about the menu, taking orders, and serving food. While a majority of my role takes place in the front of the restaurant, I also have to effectively communicate with the kitchen staff to make sure any concerns about the meal or the restaurant are heard about and solved. As a server, I've done well in being friendly, fast, attentive, and accommodating and I hope to use these skills in the future as a UX researcher.
