Performed chemical reactions to collect a library of polyurethane components and analogous bio-based poly(urethane-amides) to research an alternative synthesis of polyurethanes.
Conducted research on three projects within the ocular neovascular diseases group in disease models of retinopathy of prematurity and wet age-related macular degeneration. Acquired new skills while using confocal microscope, Olympus inverted microscope, an Aperio XT ScanScope, Spectrum, Photoshop, Imaris, ImageScope, Microsoft Office Suite, and Prism.
