I’m a strategic leader at the intersection of health / LifeSciences, environment, and sustainable infrastructure — with 25+ years of experience across global corporations, multilateral development institutions, and entrepreneurial ventures. My work spans health innovation, climate-aligned public infrastructure, and the commercialization of technologies that solve real-world challenges in emerging markets. At Thermo Fisher Scientific, I lead partnerships with governments, UN agencies, and multilateral development banks to drive market development across sectors. I help structure and deliver public-private collaborations that expand access to diagnostic tools in public health systems and have supported infrastructure for vaccine manufacturing, wastewater surveillance, and AMR monitoring. My work extends beyond healthcare — supporting government partners in designing environmental quality monitoring labs, water and wastewater surveillance systems, and solutions aligned with India’s climate goals and One Health framework. I’ve collaborated with institutions like NITI Aayog, Union Ministries of Health, Science & Technology, Environment, Home Affairs, Depts. of Biotech, Pharmaceuticals, the U.S. Embassy, Trade Assoc., WHO, ADB, and state governments on projects that blended public policy, innovative finance, and private sector execution. Earlier, I held leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson and PepsiCo, where I built and led cross-functional teams in strategy, R&D, and market innovation. As an independent consultant, I advised startups, UN agencies, and global investors on diagnostics access, environmental technologies, and infrastructure innovation across Asia, Europe, and the U.S. 🔹 Core Strengths • Public-Private Partnerships across Diagnostics, Climate, and Infrastructure • Market Development & Policy-Aligned Commercial Strategy • Environmental Monitoring & Clean Energy Collaboration • One Health Systems Thinking & Pandemic Preparedness • Cross-Border Stakeholder Engagement — Govts, MDBs, UN, Industry • Entrepreneurial Mindset, Integrity, and Delivery Focus I’m passionate about enabling scalable, high-impact solutions that serve both public purpose and commercial viability. Project Lead on a $200,000 Technical Assistance (TA) project to uncover reasons for paucity of Public Private Partnerships being implemented in Healthcare delivery and Medical & Nursing Education in India. Identified potentially successful models to engage private partners, by minimising risks and delivering robust RoIs for investors. Managed a team of sector experts across Healthcare, Education, Infrastructure, Legal, and public policy consultants (Grant Thornton) that developed the research thesis, conducted high-level stakeholder consultations with Central and State government policy makers, private partner CXOs (hospitals, diagnostics, medical & nursing colleges), and NGOs working in development.
