Berlin Metropolitan Area
Hello reader, if you've landed on my profile, chances are we share an interest in how research, policy, and people can come together to create meaningful social impact. I am an early-career policy and development professional currently based in Berlin, with experiences spanning India and Germany across research institutes, civil society organisations, and international education spaces. My work so far has been shaped by an interest in making policy and evidence more accessible, practical, and people-centred. I completed my Master of Public Policy at the Hertie School in Berlin, and I also worked as a Student Research Assistant at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), supporting research and evidence synthesis on public policy. Prior to that, I worked with Civis in India on legislative analysis and public-facing policy communication, helping translate complex governance issues into accessible explainers and stakeholder discussions. Beyond research, I enjoy coordinating projects and working across cultures and disciplines. As a Board Member of the futurEU Club at Hertie, I helped organise a climate and energy-focused study trip to Brussels involving partnerships with organisations across Europe. I currently also freelance with an educational organisation in Germany, supporting international students through intercultural programmes and study excursions. At the heart of my work is a simple motivation: contributing to organisations that support communities through thoughtful research, collaboration, and inclusive public engagement. I'm especially interested in roles that combine policy research, programme coordination, and partnerships within NGO and international development settings. I am currently exploring full-time opportunities in research, policy, and programme support roles and can be reached at [email protected].
