About

From my 30 years of experience in Higher Education, Journalism and Corporate Communication, I’ve developed my own collection of bits and bytes, a manual and SOS helping box for beginners, masters and heroes working in the communication field which I transformed into a bright picture and the semantic world of a top gun pilot. The allegory was clear. Working as a professional Communicator is like flying through the air. You are the pilot. Your company is your airline. Your passengers are your customers. You are in control of the plane. About the tools and skills in the cockpit I wrote stories and examples in the Pilotenhandbuch/Pilot manual. (Available only in German). At the end of this project 2018/2019 the toolbox was ready for take off. It helped to understand the pre Corona time. In a second step I focused on the trends and developed a trend radar with 20 rules for surviving in the 21. Century as a professional communicator. I call the book “The Pilot Guidelines” launched January 2020. Then the corona virus hit the world and nothing was the same for most of us. Anyway the analysis was helpful, the tools are there, we know the trends we have just to adopt it fast and without hesitation and take off again. During the pandemic the worked on “The Pilot’s Diary - The Future Brand Flight” talking about Personal Branding and spend a lot of in working for the MK Academy, offering Online Seminars, writing keynotes and providing inspiration. The last project focussing on artificial intelligence is published in the MK Journal 2023. So what will come next? After all we know that we have a chance to grow in life and share our experience that is for sure. First: We just need to be connected. And we are! Second: Somebody has to be in the driving seat. Not for ever. But for the first instructions. May be only for the start. We have enough excellent pilots out there. They are still learners as we all are. Third: Therefore my mission is to build up the international “pilot” connection between beginners, masters and heroes in communication and media studies. In my portfolio are 15.000 + experts, communication experts, journalists and politicians. Let us make the world a better place.
