Enjoyment is key in both my personal and professional life. ♢ Swift learner: Whenever a new experience crosses my path, I quickly adapt to the new environment, people and operations. ♢ Humorous: It is my philosophy that humor, even in the most formal atmosphere, creates a pleasant (working) environment for everyone. A moment of humor can; break the tension, provide stress-relief and bring people closer together, connecting them so that they will work harder for each other. ♢ Hard working: When I was a kid, my father told me that the key to succes is to always work as hard as you can, ensuring that you're among the best in your line of work, whatever it is. I took this to heart in every aspect of my life; as a student, general help in a supermarket, dishwasher in a partycentre as well as an intern. In my experience hard work always pays off. Since my first memory I've had a passion for music and entertainment. I've followed piano- and singing-lessons for years. After working as a project manager at Talmark for 2 years, I decided to take one last shot at persuing my dream of being an artist, enterted The Voice Of Holland’s 9th season in 2018 and I won. Since then I released an Edison award winning, Gold certified debutalbum ‘Forever You’, released multiple EP’s and took Dutch theaters by storm with a bigband show.

    Na mijn Blind Audition bij het 9e seizoen van The voice of Holland, heb ik besloten om m'n hobby om te zetten in een eigen onderneming. Toen ik uiteindelijk de finale van het programma wist te winnen, zette ik later de extra stap om full-time de muziek in te gaan. Een jaar later had ik een landelijke theatertour, een Edison-winnend debuutalbum en vele prachtige optredens/schrijfsessies op m'n naam staan.

With Valda, we wanted to stimulate conversations among Millennials by bringing news in small bites, based on their interests.

    During our minor entrepreneurship, Steven Kramer and I founded Backseat Buddy. This is an app for children, that includes various mini-games that are educational about the language, culture and history of the region/country the player is driving through at that time.

    As a Brand/Marketing Intern I was responsible for assisting the marketing team for Comedy Central and Spike. This includes promotional activities for on-air as well as online. It also includes making sure that the scheduling department is up-to-date with the marketing team, by having meetings with the schedulers on a weekly basis, as well as keeping contact with them throughout the rest of the week, being available for them at any given moment to help them with any ambiguities. This internship resulted not only in good grades (8/10 from Fontys, 9/10 from my supervisor) but also in relationships, lasting long beyond the end of my internship. I can honestly say that I've met people who've changed me for the better and I've made a lot of new, great friends.
