As VP Supply Chain Management at BESTSECRET, I have the privilege of leading a great, diverse team covering core supply chain functions that impact our end-to-end logistics network. We contribute through data-driven decisions, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic logistics expertise. Our responsibilities include capacity and volume planning for the logistics network, assortment allocation, analytics and continuously improving supply chain processes. Important for us is that we drive scalable growth, leverage automation and AI, and deliver excellent customer experience — including through initiatives like the Perfect Order Experience project.
We drive highest quality standards to ensure the integrity of shipments within the Middle Mile by challenging the status quo and leading programs that improve customer experience while reducing costs, steering teams within and outside ATS to minimize concessions and damages.
The experience of millions of #Amazon customers each day is impacted by what my fabulous team is laser focused on - our transportation network is at the core of making customers happy by delivering packages to them at great quality, on time, and fast. We are great at achieving this already - yet it’s a really difficult task, and my team finds ways to raise the bar every day. And there is more - we are equally focused on the experience that shippers have who send their packages using our transportation network, and that of our Amazon Freight Partners. And of course, we are innovating and thinking big on behalf of our customers!
My team and I are responsible for driving the performance culture in Amazon’s European transportation network, called the middle mile and covering Amazon’s surface transportation, sort center and air networks. Our goal is that Amazon’s customers receive their packages quickly and on time. We innovate on behalf of our customers by driving large-scale programs across our network and creating performance metrics, deep dive tools and predictive capabilities.
