Reports to the Chief Technology Officer of PalawanPay. - Spearhead the strategic direction and execution of PalawanPay’s technology initiatives, leading a high-performing Project Management Office (PMO) overseeing 5 Project Managers, a Business Analyst and a 100-member software development team. - Introduced and institutionalized hybrid project delivery methodologies (Agile + Waterfall), enhancing execution speed, cross-team collaboration, and project transparency. - Collaborated closely with senior leadership, tech leads, and product owners to prioritize roadmaps, balance capacity, and mitigate risks in large-scale rollouts - Assessed existing team capacity and skill alignment to identify resource gaps. - Recommended additional headcount or skill augmentation to ensure roadmap delivery to avoid project delays.
Project Manager: Ensures the timely delivery of B2C products and services for PalawanPay customers. Scrum Master: Leads the Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Up, and Retrospectives), collaborates with the dev team to address issues and blockers, ensures the team is fully-utilized and helps them prioritize their tasks, maintains the reporting dashboard to check sprint burndown and completion rate, and maintains the sanctity of the sprint. CI Champion: Led the transition of the organization from a traditional waterfall system to Agile.
