The Co-maker is responsible for both managing the logistical service providers as for the alignment with the Ahold customers (Albert Heijn, Etos and Bol.com) with regard to inventory, forecasts, deliveries, promotions, etc. This process comprises order entry to billing. In addition, the Co-maker also served as the first point of contact for its customers in case of questions, changes, issues and complaints. Ensuring proper and accurate inventory levels for all the ice cream products from Unilever at the distribution centre in Tilburg from Albert Heijn, was also an important daily activity. In order to guarantee an optimal availability of products on the shelves, inventory levels had to be generated by taking into account the current stock levels, sales forecasts, weather- and promotion factors.
Goal: Using a baseline analyses and the Lean philosophy, an improvement agenda has been established, which will provide a solid base to start the Lean journey.
Responsible for HACCP administration and digitalization of customer documentation. Being active as a helpdesk and assist customers with regard to orders via the internet and hand terminals and taking in orders from customers through fax and telephone.
Operating at the goods receipt department whereby goods received had to be checked, administrated and stored, hence also active as a forklift driver.
Goal: To improve both efficiency and effectiveness within the logistical process.
