The PhD project was done at the department of Engineering Cybernetics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). During the project I have worked to develop new control methods for underactuated autonomous vehicles and worked on frequency estimation techniques. The PhD project has allowed me to strengthen my skills in and get familiar with the cutting-edge technology of - Nonlinear control and stability theory - The dynamics and control of underactuated vehicles - Modelling and control of marine systems - Nonlinear observers and frequency estimation techniques
