I am a Certified Public Accountant with more than 30 years of accounting and taxation experience. As a Tax Director in Cherry Bekaert’s South Carolina Upstate practice, I focus on providing services to the Firm’s Owner-Managed Business Industry Group and Not-For Profit Industry Group. I have extensive experience serving the needs of clients in a variety of industries, including light manufacturing, wholesale distribution, professional service firms, not-for-profit entities and successful individuals. I am a 1979 cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA). Actively involved in the Spartanburg community, I currently serve as treasurer of the North Spartanburg Rotary Club. I am a graduate of CB&H’s Leadership Program, and have served as a course instructor for the Firm’s internal training programs. I also serve on the Firm’s Estate and Trusts and Not-For-Profit Industry Groups.
