Accelerated the world's transition to sustainable energy // Construction Site Management at Tesla Gigafactory 4 Berlin-Brandenburg - Successfully completed with our cross-functional team the construction of the Tesla Giga Berlin Battery Cell Building facility in under a year - Managed and coordinated all phases of construction of Battery Cell Building. Coordinated with contractors, engineers, and architects, commissioning and manufacturing to ensure timely progress and adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and budget constraints - Started from attaining requirements from clients, provided and coordinated design based on requirements - Executed and coordinated construction from an LPH5 Design - Managed the interface of handover from construction to clients, including commissioning and testing if necessary - Worked closely with engineering team, construction team, contracts, manufacturing and commissioning team - Reported on construction progress, risks, and schedule/budget exposures
- International accelerator facility FAIR, one of the largest research projects worldwide. Scientists all over the world will be able to gain new insights into the structure of matter and the evolution of the universe from the Big Bang to the present. - Overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client's requirements are met. - Supervising four different subcontractors and over 150 workers on site. - Deeply involved in the reinforcement works process - from the design phase preparing drawings, to the proper execution on site doing daily steel checking. - Responsible for steel material supply for each phase of the project. - Monitoring build costs, project progress and timeline forecast. - Conducting quality and safety inspections. - Helping to negotiating contracts and securing permits.
- Project "Kö-Bogen 2" Shopping Center Düsseldorf - Involved in the preparation of site reports, technical designs and drawings. - Carried out quality control procedures. - Communicated with sub-contractors and clients and support quantity surveyors by providing them with the necessary information and project insight.
- Performed static calculations as well as structural inspections, rehabilitation, and upgrading. - Sketched plan and section views of concrete structures showing reinforcement details in AutoCAD Autodesk and ViCADo. - Attended various company meeting, which gave me some insight into the dynamics and pressure in a professional work environment.
- Institute of Steel Construction - Supported research projects in the field of steel fatigue and perform FEM-based simulations using Abaqus Software.
- Institute of Structural Concrete - Supported lab experiments in the field of reinforcement anchorages with large diameter bars and performed their analysis. Tying the rebars for the tests. - Supported and assisted in the preparation, research, and publication of a comprehensive dissertation focused on the use of large-diameter rebars in concrete construction - Assessed student papers and homework and created lecture slides using MS Office
- Institute of Applied Mechanics - Assisted in lab experiments in the field of carbon fibers and carried out of FEM-based simulations. - Prepared exercise tasks for the course Mechanics 1 and created handwritten tutorials for the finite element analysis suited Abaqus Software.
