Howdy! I am a FinTech diploma graduate at Nanyang Polytechnic, and an incoming NSF. I completed a 1 Year Internship Programme (1 Year ITP) with ST Engineering (ANS Services Business Unit) during my final year as a Diploma Student at Nanyang Polytechnic. As a Software Engineering Intern supporting the Business Unit’s Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, I was the primary contributor to one of the CI projects within the business unit, focusing on digitising traditional instructor-led training into interactive, self-paced e-learning modules under the guidance of my supervisor. Using Articulate Storyline 360, I applied programming logic to develop dynamic and engaging content, working closely with engineers and my supervisor to ensure technical accuracy across various equipment systems. As part of the wider CI efforts within ST Engineering, I deployed SCORM 2.0-compliant modules onto the Moodle LMS, successfully replacing selected classroom-based sessions. This contributed to measurable operational efficiency gains, saving over 1,170 man-hours. Beyond technical contributions, the internship deepened my understanding of workplace practices, strengthened my project management skills through Agile methodologies, and allowed me to build meaningful professional relationships. I was involved in labeling products with company authorization certificates, packing wines securely for delivery or collection, and maintaining organized inventory to support operational efficiency and high order volumes. Working in a fast-paced logistics environment, I honed precision, attention to detail, and process-oriented thinking, while prioritizing a seamless experience for customers.
