About

Many young teens and adults need guidance and a sense of direction to achieve an educational degree like myself. For ten years as an educator, I have shared my educational experience and accomplishments to help build adolescence’s and young adult’s literacy. It has always been my interest to provide prospects the tools and disciplines to be or become more independent in making their own decisions and accepting responsibility for what they chose to do or be in their lives. To enhance my pedagogy, I have gradually evolved from the classroom to the public domain over the last few years that entailed job-training, travel training, counseling for higher education, and implementing survival skills. These undertakings are not an individual but a group effort process, something I learned from growing up with a family of ten. I have been fortunate to collaborate and communicate with a group of educators and organizations to create social change in people’s lives for their benefit and for the benefit of their communities. It has become our goal to teach, mentor, coach, and train students to satisfy their needs in achieving a successful career at the start of their young adult lives. Today I see myself as more than an educator: a community builder that has no boundaries. My community building continues in my education as a project manager. I plan to use this knowledge to help expand communities’ horizons and opportunities in regard to jobs, education, housing, and building social awareness with others from other communities. It is essential to build bridges among communities to give people avenues to go in and out of their comfort zone so to make themselves socially accessible to organizations or institutions that will play a huge role in their upbringing, education and career. As a result, communities will be more sustainable and self-reliant for everyone regardless of their class, creed, or ethnicity.
