Intellectual Property Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry within Entrepreneurship and Innovation areas as well as technology based companies. Skilled in Lean Start up Methodology. Alumni for the Leaders in Innovation Fellowship Program in the UK. I´ve participated as evaluator and mentor in various entrepreneurship programs with different organizations such as Posible by Fundación Televisa, LEAN StartupMx, Company Builder Transferencia AP, Santander X Explorer, Santander X Global Challenge with Oxentia, Founder Institute Caracas, as well as the Network of Innovative Women and Industrial Property promoted by IMPI. My main focus of action is the promotion and management of intellectual property, as well as the generation of technology-based companies, supporting and advising the university community, entrepreneurs, and companies in these subjects.
Working within the International Project Management Office (OGPI) at the University of Alicante, which specializes in managing and coordinating transnational cooperation initiatives. My role focuses directly on the BIKE HEI project, an initiative dedicated to boosting innovation, knowledge transfer, and entrepreneurship ecosystems across European higher education institutions. Key Responsibilities: - Leading the creation and implementation of a Joint Innovation & Entrepreneurship Hub; developing strategic support services to nurture student start-ups and academic spin-offs. - Co-organizing targeted training sessions and workshops aimed at fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among students and researchers. - Planning and organizing international consortium meetings (both hybrid and in-person), managing internal communication channels, and ensuring rigorous follow-up on partner agreements. - Monitoring project milestones, verifying deliverables, and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify and mitigate project deviations effectively.
Participate as International Expert in Intellectual Property and Business in various projects related to IP management and commercialization, academy-industry linkage as well as entrepreneurship. Design as well as provide training programs and mentoring sessions to different stakeholders according to WIPO Academy alliances.
Identify national and international alliances (corporations, investment funds, corporate ventures, universities). Create programs and calls to promote technology transfer and tech-based startups creation with key stakeholders. Connect Tec de Monterrey´s tech transfer and entrepreneurial ecosystem with other national and international ecosystems. Generate technology and startups portfolios to promote in different platforms.
