Senior Executive Manager with extensive expertise and a broad client network in the field of contract services for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry ranging from ADC’s, potent and non-potent small molecules to finished dosage forms. Over 28 years of international and multicultural experience having worked for leading contract research and manufacturing companies in a global environment. Global experience in developing and coaching multicultural high performance teams in the areas of general management, marketing and sales, R&D and production, drug substance and drug product development, quality assurance, project management and operational excellence. Following a personally motivated transition from Biosynth Group, I am currently in a deliberate pause to prioritize family responsibilities. Selectively available for Board mandates, Interim COO/Operations roles and time-limited executive projects in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and adjacent regulated industries.
Overall responsibility for leading global operations at Biosynth Group including manufacturing, process R&D, quality control, quality assurance, post M&A integration, ESH and supply chain.
Global responsibility for the overall management of the chemical and analytical development teams in US and Europe in the Custom Manufacturing Services business. Member of the executive custom manufacturing leadership team setting strategic and operational guidelines for the business. Current focus is on development and scale-up of GMP grade HPAPI’s, ADC’s, small molecule API’s, activated and functionalized polyethylene glycols and lipids for the use in global drug development.
Responsibilty for the overall management of the R&D group and GMP Kilo Labs. Current focus on development of GMP grade activated and functionalized polyethylene glycols and lipids for the use in the drug delivery field.
Responsibility for the overall analysis and improvement of all business related and operational processes at Senn Chemicals by applying modern Lean Six Sigma Tools as well as for the Project Management group. Driving continuous improvement and risk management activities for Senn compound portfolio and championing process gap analysis, change management, system and training requirements. The overall aim is to reduce complexity in all processes, become more efficient and cost competitive and to further develop the technology portfolio of the company.
Operational responsibility for a custom manufacturing organization located in Zürich area. The overall strategy is to further grow a successful company to become a premier global partner for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and diagnostics industry.
Worldwide operational responsibility for chemical and analytical Process R&D, Pilot Plants and Drug Product Development. Compilation and issuance of the operating expense budgets of the corresponding departments in accordance with the guidelines of the executive board of directors, continuous development and integration of new technologies. Active participation in M&A activities, member of the executive board of Hovione.
