Manage and motivate a team of accountants, team leads, and managers with a team of 100+FTE across end to end F&A Space (RTR/OTC/PTP) for APAC & Greater UK. Maintain thorough and current understanding of GAAP. Keep abreast of emerging accounting and reporting standards. Support the implementation of new accounting pronouncements as required. Communicate and collaborate routinely with finance colleagues at regional levels, providing direction related to key processes and related changes, the sharing of best practices and keeping them abreast of initiatives that have a global impact. Maintain an appropriate system configuration and IT environment to ensure effective and efficient execution of R2R and general financial accounting continuous finance processes. Deliver and drive efficiency in continuous finance processes in RTR , PTP & OTC and all related periodic processes in the region. Lead the RTR/OTC/PTP processing, audit and compliance activities within the region in coordination with global teams. Involvement in strategy building for the service delivery, in cooperation with wider Account teams and other internal stakeholders Day to day management of Data Management and Client Accounting Team Leaders. Deliver, standardize and drive efficiency in continuous finance processes in record-to-report, banking, fixed assets and shared services accounting processes in the region. Lead the shared services and fixed assets accounting within the region, including process architecture, protocols and mechanics and related governance. Ensure delivery of R2R shared service centre activities throughout the region (if applicable). Manage R2R shared service centre quality levels through service level agreements, performance metrics and continuous governance rhythm. Lead the banking activities processing, audit and compliance activities within the region. Run all periodic processes related to R2R and general financial accounting, including month-end activities, account reconciliations, periodic reporting, metrics, governance and internal control. Work with Business Finance and Global COE colleagues to maintain best-in-class processes and application of policies. Develop and implement procedures and operational ways of work in a standardized, efficient and effective manner for all markets in the region in the realm of the R2R and general financial accounting stream. Maintain R2R and general financial accounting related internal controls within the region; ensure robust account reconciliations and SOX compliance.
