I am a project manager with over 20 years experience of working in the museum and cultural sectors with a portfolio covering exhibitions, public realm and architecture projects. I work at the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester mainly working with designers and build contractors that provide creative solutions to delivering new content and narrative in a museum setting. I develop and deliver creative strategies and briefs for a wide range of projects, and undertake all aspects of project management including procurement, people and budget. I have worked for a range of organisations including, national museums, nationally recognised festivals across arts, science and cultural fields, corporate design practices and artists studios. I am open to exploring future opportunities in the Manchester area.

An award winning a annual festival of art, music and ideas, showcasing and driving emerging trends in new media. My role involved curating and delivering the festival's key exhibition "FutureEverybody". The key elements of this role included: Curating the exhibition; Supporting artists in realising their work; Artist liaison for travel, accommodation, production and marketing; Budget management; Line management of project staff and volunteers; Negotiation of artist and venue contracts; Contributing to evaluation and documents of the art programme.
RMJM was an architectural practice that actively encouraged collaboration between architects and artists. My role involved developing and managing a programme of artist commissions including projects for the public realm, residential, schools, universities and community engagement projects. I also initiated a series of artist talks as part of the company's Continual Professional Development programme.
