Duties: • Supporting 37 stores across Northern Ireland and Dublin. • Analysing RAG reports, feeding back to Area Manager opportunities to improve results focusing on Sickness and Absence, competency mixes and succession planning • Deliverance of the Step into Management Programme. Internal programme City and Guilds Accredited. With a selection criteria to attend 4 workshops over a 6 month period • Recruitment and Selection for management vacancies • Poor performance Management with resolution of HR issues • Induction planning and supervision of new Management. • Holding conference calls and holding area meetings to communicate strategies and progress • Networking with HO functions, Learning and Development team and HR team based in London. • Recently liaising with Babcock Representative for NVQ roll out in Northern Ireland with regular updates on progress.
Main Duties: • Managing a team of 10 to deliver excellent customer service • Leading by example to inspire performance to achieve and deliver stores KPIs. Consistently within the top 10 out of 42 stores. • Poor performance management and resolution of HR issues at store level • Training and development of team to have a succession plan in place • Reward and recognition to motivate team to deliver store expectations. • Cash Management • Visual Merchandising/commercial flair to adapt to customer markets • Health and Safety Management for safe working environment • Driving sales, seeking opportunities to maximise whilst reviewing risks to manage effectively. • Protecting profit through costs management. Store is the most profitable in NI. • Office paperwork • Stock management/trade reports
